Here’s What Happened at Perform24

Planful Perform24 wrapped after a whirlwind two-and-a-half days. Over 1,000 planning professionals, industry experts, and Planful partners joined us in person and virtually to prove it’s possible to go beyond expectations and learn new techniques to use untapped capabilities.

There were terrific keynotes, customer story sessions, customer awards and community accolades, and numerous product announcements.

Let’s recap some of the biggest highlights of Planful Perform24.

Planful CEO Grant Halloran launched Perform24 with the Keynote presentation, “Go Beyond: Explore the Future of Financial Performance Management.”

In his opening remarks, Grant explained the three cycles of our “go beyond” event theme — automate, collaborate, and innovate — using customer examples and Planful solutions to demonstrate their impact and importance.

Grant was joined on stage by fellow Planful executives, Planful customers, and R “Ray” Wang, Principal Analyst and Founder of Constellation Research.

During the Keynote, the speakers encouraged Perform24 attendees to go beyond the typical approach to planning and execution. They explored the benefits of collaboration, innovation, and diverse perspectives to achieve goals.

Solution Hub announced at Perform24

We are thrilled to debut Planful Solution Hub at Perform24.

Our new Solution Hub is a searchable collection of pre-built solutions open for anyone to explore and for customers to configure. No matter your industry or the complexity of your needs, the Solution Hub will offer an in-depth look at a solution to achieve your organization’s goals.

During our opening keynote, Planful CEO Grant Halloran joined people from across the Planful universe to announce a variety of product advancements related to the three key pillars: automate, collaborate, and innovate.

Some exciting product features announced include:

• The extended vision for Planful AI means we will offer customers our first generative AI experience later this year.
• New solution advancements, including Planful for Workforce capabilities and Planful for Marketing features, to improve business outcomes and access to data across teams.
• New integrations with Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI to support customers with their overall data strategy.

Perform24 saw Planful welcome 20 new members into the Planful Champions Club and announce the 2024 Planful Customer Award winners.

Our Customer Award winners are selected based on submissions from Planful partners, customers, and employees. This year, we added a fifth category covering global impact and scale and honored two customers in the team sport category.

The 2024 Customer Award winners are:

• Innovation: Tokio Marine HCC continuously uses Planful in innovative and creative ways.
• Team Sport: Gousto and Insigneo Financial Group, respectively, use Planful to collaborate across the business to drive peak financial performance.
• Advocacy: Kiewit gained broad public support for the value realized through Planful and its solutions.
• Global Trendsetter: Alltech, who shaped the future of financial performance management in their respective markets worldwide.
• Rookie of the Year: Kimball Midwest, a new Planful customer within the last year who adopted Planful quickly and saw fast value.

Congratulations to all the winners and the newest members of the Champions Club!

Over the past three days, we welcomed a diverse group of Planful customers at Perform24 to lead sessions, share tips, and offer insights for driving peak financial performance.

These leaders and practitioners from finance, accounting, marketing, and other areas explained how they use Planful AI/ML, scaled financial performance management across the business, moved to rolling forecasts, and so much more.

In our closing keynote, we were thrilled to learn from our guest speaker, Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic.

In her keynote, Cole shared how to transform content from traditional text and graphs into compelling narratives — all with the goal of increasing attention and creating more impactful outcomes.

The best-selling author also demonstrated how to overcome common graph and slide issues, plus secrets she used to transform herself from a shaky-voiced introvert into an adept presenter.
